Jonathan Graham is a Multidisciplinary Improvisational Banjoist from the Greer area of Greenville/Spartanburg. Specializing in his own unique style of rhythmic and melodic style of playing that harmonizes as well called Electro-Acoustic Percussive Finger Style for the Five String Banjo which involves things like Artificial Intelligence to Cajon Percussion Accessories fixed on the head of the banjo it self in a prepared way for playing. Not only does Jonathan Graham include AI and prepared playing in his playing but the use of techniques and playing passed down through the physiology, minds, and spirit of great men and women as well! Jonathan has come a long way in his studies and intends to push forwards into the boundaries of what we think the instrument can do and search forward into where we think it can go.

Jonathan has learned from many great people and even masters of their technique and even their instrument yet it’s his way of playing that has set him apart from even them. Making him unique and a great artist in the field and he’s here to make some waves.

His new work entitled, ANCIENTINSTRUMENT, has been a work that has been coming to fruition for a long time. Featuring AI as well as traditional sounds plus possibly Jonathan on the drum kit utilizing new AI drum sensors. He hopes for new music soon to be put out this year, 2026!!
