Jonathan Graham is a Multidisciplinary Improvisational Banjoist from the Greer area of the Greenville/Spartanburg area. Specializing in his own unique style of rhythmic and melodic style of playing that harmonizes as well called Electro-Acoustic Percussive Finger Style for the Five String Banjo which involves things like Artificial Intelligence to Cajon Percussion Accessories fixed on the head of the banjo it self in a prepared way for playing as well. Not only does Jonathan Graham include AI and prepared playing in his playing but the use of techniques and playing passed down through the physiology/minds/spirit of great men and women as well! Jonathan has come a long way in his studies and intends to push forwards into the boundaries of what we think the instrument can do and search forward into where we think it can go.

Jonathan has learned from many great people and even masters of their technique and even instrument yet it’s his way of playing that has set his apart from even them at this point which makes him a great artist in the field of playing and he’s here to make some waves.

His new work with AI, entitled, AncientInstrument has been a work that has been coming to the fruition for a long time. It’s soon to be completed and the first album to be released soon.
